What a wonderful idea to video some of your messages, especially when you are in a beautiful natural setting. You’ve stepped into your usual text to speak directly about perils we face with climate change & ghg emissions, the topics to which you’ve dedicated years of work. There has been much controversy about America’s climate announcement this week but you’re right that in three months the Biden administration has made strides in climate above the the destruction of the previous four years. There must be greater commitment in so many areas but from what we’ve seen in this brief time, I feel enormously encouraged. Looking forward to more great videos from you.

I like these type of presentations. They remind me of home and the hours I spent as a kid tromping through the fields, lots, rivers. I especially liked the one you did a couple years back where you were walking through the Dutch Mountains.

Loved the sounds of the birds in the video. Their calls are some that I hear too in my yard. Yes, nature is important especially for city dwellers. An occasional video is nice but I do prefer your articles with photos interspersed. Looking forward to your next one.

Bravo, I like your deep dive into nature and surface on video with an important message to listen too, and other critters to see. I hope there will be more of these habitat element moments popping up in The Planet. 🎞️ 🌎 👏

I really enjoyed your video, Alexander, particularly the message but also the setting. The forests near Ottawa appear to be very similar to ours in Northern Michigan, including the fabulous bird calls and reptilian inhabitants. It is very calming and sustaining, and makes an excellent platform for your important summary of some key updates related to our planet. I think occasional video editions add to the richness of The Planet. Thank you.

What a nice surprise! I really like the video idea. And that's the perfect setting for it too - love hearing the birds in the background. That snake at the end - just wow!

Also I great summary of what's been going on. And you might just encourage some people to go outdoors and listen to the birds, see that squirrel or that woodpecker (I find them difficult to spot - I hear them a lot, though) and maybe even a snake. Thank you for sharing this!

Your video, the natural setting, the subject you’ve been addressing and the weeks retrospective are very instructive and you really know how to expose a serious threat. 🙏🏻👍🏻🍀

Hello Alexander, your videos would be very welcome, for a refreshing trek out in nature. I first learned of your planet advocacy during your interview on the ‘Sustainability Now’ webinar. I’m a member of Citizens’ Climate Lobby, a Wisconsin chapter, and we so hope for carbon fee and dividend legislation to pass, on behalf of the earth, at earliest possible time. I’ve shared ‘The Planet’ information with my UU Earth Ministry committee so I hope there will be some new followers of yours.

Loved the video, feel free to do more of those. Honestly I get a a little lazy with reading sometimes 😊. And it was nice to see the forest, even the snake since it was nowhere near me 😅. And I always like hearing your accent 😊.

Loved this! Can definitely feel things waking up, in so many ways, both with Springtime, politics and environment. The snake is a perfect metaphor for this (being one who sheds skin, making way for something new).

I enjoyed the sounds and sights of the forest video. It is also a great reminder as to why resolving Climate Change issues should be high priority across the planet.

I loved this mini-trip to the forest in Ottawa. The sounds of the birds, seeing and hearing all of the nature plus seeing you and hearing your recap of the week's events was wonderful. I agree that it is good news to see the USA back. Definitely, it is a step in the right direction. I would subscribe in a heartbeat, if i could. I think what you are doing is fabulous. Have shared articles with all of my family via email. Thank you, Alexander, for sharing all of this beauty today. I hadn't visited that part of Canada, so seeing this was a happy experience for me!
