‘Paradise has the colours of desires, the scent of memories and the taste of dreams. Is the feeling of belonging. Is the moment when you close your eyes and see all around.’ M.B.
Hi Mike, Thank you for the suggestion. I looked into that and found out that that is unfortunately not possible. Unlike for instance Twitter, at Substack both the readers and the author, so you and I, can not add pictures to comments. This is really a pity. A workaround is that you send them as a reply to my substack-email that you receive (that is just adding a photo to an email) and that I share them on Substack, but that seems like an unnecessary long precedure. Perhaps this is possible on other platforms, I will look into this.
Landscape and sunset splendor, thank you Alexander for yet another great view.
Must be a grounding feeling to be walking over the same grounds as your ancestors at times.
A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots . . . (A quote from can't remember where) (-:
My midnight hours here were spent on listening to a ruckus Bear tossing a garbage can around which he/she could not get open. The Bears are in a state of perpetual hunger at this time of the year, busy get fat for the winter.(Hyperphagia)
So glad you took a moment to share this. Life is a connection of these “snapshots” of our experience. :-)
Thank you for sharing your moment in paradise with us. This is a stunning picture. Must have been a great moment.
It was indeed 😊

Beautiful place. Stunning vision.
Beautiful picture from a beautiful island

A lyrical moment to hold close & savor.
And remember when the cold winds blow, winter covers the landscape & the majestic beauty of a later summer evening on your island seems far away.
Recalling this image would surely warm you in body & spirit.
It’s a joy to share it. Thank you.
Thanks Alexander. Beautiful picture; it calmed my soul. How can we return the favour and share our beautiful / peaceful 'hump day' pictures with you?
