π»Very nice Alexander, I'm listening to similar bird tweets every morning. It's the ultimate wakeup call. Glad you got bunny's' seal of approval to pass-on on the trail. The rising sun stroking the lay of the land and trail, is awesomeness on this video. Hospital de Peregrinos, a pilgrim hospital. π₯
Must have given a sense of comfort while walking this trail to all folks who passed. Thanks for showing that old historic (hospital/church) and explaining the healing of the very sick in the past. Now, a fascinating hostel to rest, made out of real old stone. Wondering what the population was at that time? I would settle for the romantici dream for todays' remaining 20 miles . . . πΆββοΈ
Lovely to see the bunny and birds welcoming you. The abbey looked like a comforting healing and restorative refuge. Youβre a fortunate & blessed person, Alex!
Can I assume that those white birds with large nests on chimneys & on the bell tower are storks?
It seems that you are really moving along! If Iβm converting correctly, 28 kilometers is approximately 17.4 miles. I believe you are walking El Camino FrancΓ©s, which is about 500 miles. That is a real commitment, impressive.
As always, Iβm enjoying the scenery on your walk. It seems soothing, peaceful. Stay safe!
Yes, these are indeed storks. Iβm fascinated by their big nests on the churches, their beautiful flight, and the sounds they produce. And I do walk the Camino FrancΓ©s, itβs a 500-mile walk, i have now passed the midway point of SahagΓΊn.

There were also to openings in the church wall where food used to be left behind for the poor; so even more so a sense of comfort

Bravo, Peregrino!
Thanks Mischa
Thanks Lizzie. Walking west and starting early gives every morning the fun of those long shadows.
