I’m still in the lively city of León and just made this video about my walk of last Thursday from Carrión de Los Condes to Sahagún. Enjoy! This summer, I am making a 107-day trip to Europe. My walking of the ancient 500-mile pilgrimage route of the Camino de Santiago is a part of this trip. I will get back to writing my usual articles about nature, environment, and climate change in late September.
🌻 Awesome Alexander, for a moment I thought that Stork headed in for you! (-: There are young ones in that nest. Thank you for the landscape photos and the foot paths you walk with grace 🚶♂️. 40km today, quite a trip so far!! (Copy comment on Youtube)
Wow! 40 kilometers - that's almost a marathon. Well done!
Those cats have the right idea, sleeping in the shade. Also loving all those storks, must be great to see them all over the place. Wonderful pictures. I love the colors and those clouds. Thank you for sharing.
As a child in Germany I was fascinated by the storks and their massive nests. I had forgotten. Thank you for reminding me ❤
A child memory for me too and then they all disappeared due to DDT. Now they are back in the Netherlands too

Thanks Marianne, practically every village has one or more stork-nests. I love to watch these magnificent birds
Approaching the halfway mark, Carrión to Sagahún, 40km in one day. Quite a feat.
Beautiful images, next stop León and a rest break. Very nice video.
Thanks Lizzie!
