This story about the regent honeyeaters was one of the saddest I have read. I am glad you mention it though, Alex, as maybe their story will help the others. Thank you for writing this. I will subscribe when I can. Enjoy the beautiful sunny day! ❄🌞❄

Good morning, I'm waking up with bird songs also as they start earlier and earlier. I say 'thanks' and go back to sleep a bit more. I sure hope that the people of Australia caught the Honeyeaters demise in time, lets keep an eye on their progress? I have an acquaintance who has visited with 'Wisdom'. Lucky guy! Perfect newsletter since today is also a day in honor of sparrows. Seaside sparrows are in trouble because of rising sea levels and destruction of so many wetlands. Sad that birds are losing their songs too since the sound of certain birds is a harbinger of spring. Enjoy your first Spring weekend.
