I am working on a few stories, but for now, I want to share this picture that I took of tulips in Ottawa. Some of you have followed me on Twitter this winter and seen the photos I shared of snow-covered landscapes. It is good to know that this is also Ottawa, a city full of colorful tulips. I love it and will share more on tulips soon.

I'm appreciating the tulips! I feel I have fallen behind on keeping up with some of your excellent stories unfolding in parallel with my busy life on and off the computer here... I look forward to catching up and for now, enjoying tulips! Thank you.
Tulips are so varied, and yet share that quality of being an iconic symbol of Spring. They have a grace and wayward quality, some so intensely hued, others so subtle and subdued... all, robust, yet fleeting. Looking forward to more photos in days ahead... The Tulip Festival there must be quite something! How moving that the Dutch continue their tradition of sending such enormous quantities of these flowers, to honour the long-standing ties between our countries and bring welcome colour and life to Ottawa each year : )

Love the picture of the tulips. I can only enjoy them in pictures since the squirrels in my neighborhood believe they are planted to eat.🌷
