As you know, I have century-old connections to this island, so my love for its beauty may be a bit biased. However, quite a few readers decided to travel from abroad to see the island. I got the impression that they enjoyed its nature, wide beaches, wildlife, and the many cozy villages that seem to represent a postcard image of the Netherlands (full disclosure: I walk on my wooden shoes around the house, just like most of my neighbors).
That was a beautiful sunset! The beach calls to us all I like to think, the ocean is always close to home for me. "Making sure the sea is still there," that's so beautiful but also sad to think about.
The tourist board of Zeeland should really be paying you. What an amazing place to spend time. I also like a good stereotype - how many clogs do you actually own? ;-)
