The IPCC warns that the window is rapidly closing. The world is not in a crisis. It is worse: there are many. Just when some governments hoped that the worst of the pandemic would finally be over in their countries, the war in Ukraine started. And like the previous crisis, this one is such a priority that others, like climate change and biodiversity loss, don't get the world leaders' urgent attention they need.
Since February 24, we live in a different world where renewables will be viewed much more strategically. As if preparing for a fossil fuel world because of climate change was ever not strategic.
Thank you for adding your important voice to the extremely ominous IPCC Report.
Sec Gen Guterres said, “ I've seen many reports, but nothing like the new @IPCC_CH climate report, an atlas of human suffering & damning indictment of failed climate leadership.” And further, “It’s time to turn rage into Climate Action.”
If not now, when?
It’s a terrible trick of fate that just as our climate crisis has reached it most critical turning point to date, other catastrophic events push it off the front page. Despite the other disasters, climate can no longer be pushed aside.
Again, thank you for all your fervent efforts for turning around the most urgent and decisive crisis humanity has ever faced. It’s time for Climate Rage!
Again, right on! Thank you for this Newsletter. I'm learning from reading The Planet . . . 🌻🌻🌻
Thank you, Marian!
As ever, very impressed by Denmark. I'm seriously considering moving there.
Thank you for drawing my attention to the IPCC report - I only read the summary.
I hope Switzerland finally wakes up. Heard some encouraging "let's invest in renewables NOW" news.

An excellent piece.
Thank you, Lizzie. And yes, I fully agree.
