Spring is the most favorite season. But what will happen in the decades to come? Will more and more people associate summer with climate-related disasters like heat waves and wildfires? And will winter become more popular as the time to cool off?
Spring is the charmed season. It’s the time for renewal & rebirth & we on this planet are gifted with the wonderful experience of seeing nature put on the most incredible display - the return of life. Trees as their buds emerge & develop, bulbs shooting up from the earth, flowers springing to new life with riotous colors. It’s uplifting & enthralling! Your words bring these visions even where it hasn’t yet begun. Spring is indeed the season of love as the earth gives us love we haven’t earned.
This is a beautiful piece & the wistful quote is lovely. Thank you.
I enjoy spring in the desert but it’s all too short. I’m happy to post updates from Phoenix, Arizona. We’ve already had over a week if temperatures in the 90’s which is 10 degrees hotter than usual.
I love that Old Dutch sentence. Beautiful - and fascinating (trying to find similarities to Old High German, Old English, Old Norse and Gothic - sorry, language nerd).
April is my favorite month for several reasons, but my favorite season is winter. Summer has always been too hot for me and fall can get a bit depressing around here when it's gray all day.
Another great newsletter. Very enjoyable to read and that crocus field - stunning.
I enjoyed this spring fling you write about this morning. I also happen to live in a four season climate zone, and savor the always changing days and months. I embrace every day when it wakes up in the morning.
Now, I wonder what the Gallup ratings would be in climate zones without distinct seasons? Where love prevails without seasonal change? How would their love poems read?

I enjoyed this article very much. I just got around to actually reading it. Sometimes it takes me a while to get to them. 😅

That was beautiful. Good luck tomorrow morning, although you will do great, as always. 🙂
