I "heart" this because of the excellent reporting that Alexander consistently delivers, but I don't "heart" the situation. The world needs to know this information; or more accurately, the leaders who have the power need to respond appropriately. :/

When you’re right, you’re right. Again.

As long as I have known you, you’ve so often said these words, “we know how to tackle the climate crisis, and we have the technology and the financial means, but we lack the political will, international solidarity, and the sense of urgency”. Yet, here we are.

The graph you provide is undisputed evidence of the crisis in our oceans. And El Nińo looms ahead. It couldn’t be more worrisome.

Your interview is excellent. You made your points clearly and expertly. TRT knows who to go to for the most reliable and accurate facts and viewpoints. Well done!

Thanks for adding these facts and graphs to what I thought was an excellent interview.

Change is difficult, it requires a complete overhaul of ones thinking and leaders are afraid of what taking action will do to their chances of re-election. What they don't realize is that NOW is the time to grow a pair and take action for the greater good.

Natural events like El Niño are not the problem. We are. Japan has problems with earthquakes and has developed a technology to keep the buildings from collapsing and people safe. The self-sabotage displayed by the human species is but the result of generational trauma that won’t heal as long as we pursue power and keep killing each other to obtain it. Follow the idiot who appears to be the strongest. Unfortunately wealth, in particular money, makes people stupid. “ The two men went on fighting viciously and violently and didn’t realize they had reached the edge, and so they both fell off the cliff.” End of the story of the two stupid men who died, reincarnated and resumed fighting.

Excellent piece, chart, interview! Right on target as always. At the moment I believe failure to take more notice has to do with the “trials and tribulations” of the former president of the USA. His cult of followers may be subsiding but the vocal ones are in our House of Representatives, holding the purse strings to action. The problem is DISTRACTION &

will continue for ? months? So many activists are on the case, pushing for reduction in CO2 emissions but that’s going to take a little more time; sadly, time we don’t have! We have colliding crises of governance and climate and gun violence and fascism on the rise.....did I overlook any really BIG THINGS? Probably. But encouraged that Trump’s indictment went fairly quietly in court today; yes, that’s relevant as DISTRACTION. We move one day at a time in the USA 🇺🇸 but HOPE is on the rise! On all colliding crises. Ahoh, overlooked our corrupt SCOTUS but things are turning there, too! TMI must feed fur kids and settle out a bit. Thank you for this! 🕊️
