A wonderful video and a great item to view on a brutally hot day on Long Island. Envious of your swim in the cold North Sea. Our Atlantic Ocean is much warmer. May the rest of your day be as glorious on the lovely isle.
Thank you, Lilly, I have no idea how warm the water is, but I think it is the perfect temperature; it takes a moment to get in, but once in the water, it is nice.
A Sunny wake up call for me, watching you going to the beach riding on an iron horse . . . I bow, while passing the pretty church in the morning sun. On the bike path, a 'Hello' to the Shetland pony's Pow Wow, and ah, seeing two of them are grooming each other, how sweet! During the passage through forest the dunes and into the sea, I even picked up a Lighthouse in the distance, all during the thought of a refreshing dip (-:
Thank you again for sharing Alexander. Loved the part of the video where the horses are grazing! The deserted beach looks as inviting with all the beauty surrounding it.
Hello Alex, your words and beautiful video were a very welcomed respite from the very humid hot weather in Los Angeles. Hope you are continuing to heal with no pain. Have a lovely weekend.
Hi Aimee, It is very much the way I feel too. I have thought about writing an article about the IPCC report but didn't think that would add much now that the world's newspapers finally write about the climate for a day or two, hence my earlier video message from the dunes. But it is also that I am a bit hesitant to get back to the serious issues.
Having worked on climate issues for so long, I enjoy this break from the worrying lack of action and rapidly deteriorating planetary conditions. So I will probably aim for a mix of articles after the summer and plan to continue the light version (pictures, history, nature, local news) for summers, winters, and weekends.

Great video! 🌻
Nice to hear Marian, the lighthouse is the one of Burgh-Haamstede, well known since it was on the 250 guilders bill.
A gorgeous start to your day. Thank you for sharing this beautiful two minutes.
I hope the remainder of your day is equally as great.
Thank you. Have a great day!
Looks like it was a beautiful day.
Such a lovely video. We are blessed by nature and should take greater care of the planet and the wildlife which we share our world with.
yes, I fully agree!

And as you saw in today's video, they are still at exactly the same spot, which is surprising, they have so much space to roam.
A story of wonder. A ride along a magic place where beauty rise between dunes and quiet tides and solitude have the taste of freedom.
So nicely formulated; this is a magical place where I have always felt at home.
A morning swim in the ocean. I'd love that.
Thanks for taking us along on this beautiful ride. Nice camera work too. Looks like such a lovely place. And those ponies, just amazing.
I should get a GoPro some day, I was holding an iPhone :-)
