Good to hear that walking in nature helps, even if only a little. This is a lovely picture. Thank you for sharing your island's beauty with us. Wishing you a lot of patience with your recovery and sending some positive vibes from Switzerland.

Thank you, I live very close to the highest point in the province of Zeeland, I believe that dune is 35 meters above sea level. I doubt if anyone in Switzerland is impressed.

Well, let's just say it made me smile ;-). When it comes to heights of dunes you are beating us though, hands down.

You also deserve a rest and maybe your arm is a sign that you do. You have been working very hard in the past months with this newsletter and everything that it entails. Take it easy this summer. Wishing for your arm to heal soon. Have a nice day Alex!

Pretty photo Alexander,

Wonderful dune scape with a drinking (and bathing)source for the animals? Curious, is this pond salty?

Pony 'pow wow' sacred meeting awaiting around the corner for you off the trail, sit for a while and listen to their healing conversations

seize the day . . . with 🐎 wisdom, walk👣 for wellbeing at times (-:

This is fresh water, like all the small ponds in the dunes. But the water close to the lonely church tower (from the drowned village) is a bit salty, an ideal wetland area. I will share some pictures soon

So sorry to learn of your nerve pain. Glad that walking in nature helps you. Nature does have a way of healing many things. So right about the yea and climate change. We usually get a hot spell coinciding with 7/4 but this year it’s a week early and really extremely hot and humid, too hot to be outside except very early or after sunset.

Rest and enjoy your time in those beautiful dunes with the ponies.

Hi Alexander, i am sorry that you are in pain. I hope that walking in nature, taking time away from the screen, resting and having patience will let the nerve in your arm know that you are thinking of its welfare and listening to your body. I am sure that this time of rest will do you so much good. You have been working very hard in recent months. ... I have a friend who sprained her wrist just by typing on a keyboard. I think that her body was sending her a message in the only way it knew how.
