He was mentored by one of the most unscrupulous individuals to ever hold a law degree, Roy Cohn. Trump studied hard.

This is an interesting one about Cohn and his apprentice: https://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/21/us/politics/donald-trump-roy-cohn.html

Too bad Cohn never lived to see Angels In America. The one commonality for Cohn, Trump, Stone is not just a lack of ethics but a celebration of the lack of ethics.

I would add he also studied Mussolini, Hitler and Marx - at least it has been reported by at least 1 of his relatives and nothing he has done has made me doubt this claim. I've been aware his public life since I first heard of the discrimination charges against him and his father (1985-ish) by buying his way out (by settling) and, like the end of that charge he bought his way out by settling, he'll try that again! I hope and pray that this time he'll get what's due to him so justice is served and our country has a chance to stay a democracy instead of a dictatorship.

The word "studied" strikes me as odd for someone who can't send a tweet without several grammar and spelling mistakes. Marx is unreadable (still popular when I grew up, still wondering why), and his taxation policies would have been more progressive than Trump's. But on the rest, yes, indeed.

I agree, Linda. I would be satisfied if he received a prison sentence.

I would like to see him in prison stripes but mostly, I do NOT want to see him ever again in residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave! I've never liked Orange Kool-Aid.

I rarely use his name and instead refer to him as the orange monster. And lol to orange kool-aid.

I rarely call him by name either! I'm afraid if I say it 3 times, he'll appear Iike Beetlejuice! When I was on old Twitter, I called him "Agent Orange". lol

What a *bleeeeeep*.

Can't believe he's been at this longer than I've been alive. What a sad anniversary.

Yes, and celebrated this week with more appearances in courtrooms and a fresh from the press limited gag-order.

He won't be able to abide by the gag order. Physically impossible for him to remain silent.

No, he will continue to β€œprotest too much”, incriminate himself further in language barely intelligible now other than the undeniable, inevitable threat too far, and finally his β€œTruth Social” megaphone πŸ“£ and digital outbursts will be silenced by the DOJ and Jack Smith. What a beautiful silence 🀐 coming.

Donald was the son of a grifter and followed in Fred’s footsteps every day of his life with absolutely no regard for tenants or others. Now 37,500 lies +/- later, he is polling neck and neck to be elected president again, the USA’s worst nightmare! (See X for poll) ongoing.

And there is always the thought that so many people who voted for him would have been better off if they hadn't.
