Sorry to see that it seems Beethoven has not much to smile about at this moment. But you cracked me up with trying to break the mood, with a very generous one (-:
The local town photos are truly inviting. I wish . . . I have this 🧭 in hand. What a trip 🚶♂️🙏
Alex, have a wonderful time on el camino! Every friend who has done it talks about the physical and spiritual experiences that have changed and enriched their lives. Enjoy!
I am a fan of Monet and I went to every museum I could find in Paris to admire his work. I’ve also gone to exhibits here in the states when I could get away. I think you do wonderfully well with two thumbs typing. I have not mastered that and I still poke at the keyboard. Happy travels.
Yes, Therese was Beethoven’s Immortal Beloved. I’m glad to hear you are traveling as light as possible…it’s wonderful to be minus the laptop so you can experience and absorb Life.
Wow! I think I might need to go to Saint Jean Pied de Port at some point. What a gem! That was quite a journey. Thank you for taking us along for the ride.
A bonanza! So many magnificent photos, a really fun video (so great to watch the progress) and a wonderful article beautifully written.
Even under less than ideal conditions, you share fascinating details of Alex’s Excellent Adventure. I know how arduous, physically and mentally, this must be but what an incredible experience.
Seeing and reading all you share really makes readers feel they too are having a bit of vicarious travel.
Thanks for all of it. Please continue sharing all you can when you can. Take care. Stay safe and well.
And I loved the photo of you and your old pal Ludwig! 😉

Thank you, I have seen quite a few Monets in New York and Washington DC too. 😊
