I strolled through the dunes, where I felt the cold embracing me like a memory from home in Ottawa. The world around me lay silenced, frozen in the quiet stillness of a sleeping island. My fingers tingled with cold; photography would be a challenge this morning.
it's amazing how fast it was all gone. The winds changed to the west, bringing warmth and humidity; the bright blue skies are now cloudy, grey and moody, just as the waters that have replaced the bright, reflecting and sculptured ice on the small ponds in the dunes.
The beauty when everything is quiet, peaceful .......a moment to relish before usual activities and incoming news of the day. That moment to just breathe, so very fine. 🌅🌅🌅
