So pleased you turned my tired eyes away from a digital dilemma ie stuck in too many stories of abhorrent violence, can make sense of none of it. Your beautiful rainbows 🌈🌈 remind me that I have done all one citizen of the 🌎 can do to play my minor part in resolution; don’t need to understand how we got to this place. Just encourage calm heads to prevail in problem solving. You indicate you want more people to engage here. Me, too. How do we help you accomplish that? A moments peace is everything in this time of absolute fear, chaos in so very many places. We need and appreciate you. Thank you for this! 🕊️🕊️🕊️

Alexander: You definitely have an exceptional talent for explaining things through the written word. Since I have never known what physical sight is, I am not able to see Alexander's Band. However, through your written explanation in this post, I can "see" in the sense of understanding your meaning. I will definitely continue being a paying subscriber long-term because you have a talent for explaining things through writing. Equally important, I enjoy reading what you write! By posting this public comment, I also want to encourage other readers of The Planet to become or continue being a paying subscriber to Alexander's Substack publication.

Thank you, Blake; your words touched me, and I will keep them in mind whenever I write, knowing that I should not assume that each of my photos will tell more than a thousand words. And I'll try to make more consistent use of image alt text. I'm so happy to have you as a supporter of this newsletter!

Thanks very much Alex 🙏🧡, for this pleasant article to read (after the violence we are witnessing in this world!)

Nature truly has soothing virtues in all respects, like this magnificent double rainbow.

With the added bonus of the scientific explanation (understandable, thanks 😉!) that you give us of this rare phenomenon!

And what a lovely and warm pic

👏✨🌈 !

Some time ago, following a storm, I also took a pic of a double rainbow by the sea … Everyone present was totally fascinated, and the phones were flashing to keep track of this memory!

Natural phenomena which it is so enjoyable to have had the pleasure of witnessing!

A double rainbow by the sea must be even better than in a city :-)

Lovely! I confess that when I first read the title, I was thinking of a musical band 😂 Yes, there’s nothing like a rainbow to inspire hope!
