Attention to detail is a blessing and sometimes a curse! This is fascinating material and a wonderful escape from ā€œheavyā€ things reported daily in these times. Thank you for this!šŸ˜Š

This was truly interesting to read about, I didn't even know half of this! I had a Finnish neighbor when I lived in the UK and she said the hardest part about their language is that every letter is pronounced but one day I'd like to try to learn to speak it.

I remember the story of a talented diplomat who spoke some seven languages and then got a posting in Helsinki. He was so frustrated that he had to give up learning Finish after really trying hard.

Love this! Thank you. I've been to that museum Viking Ship Museum north of Roskilde (I might have been to all Viking Ship museums in Skandinavia ;-)). Fascinating place and I've always liked that four of the days of the week in English come from Norse Gods.

Couldn't love the longest palindrom word more. How fun! Try saying "saippuakivikauppias" three times fast.

I remember 08/08/08 because I was invited to I think FIVE weddings. I decided to attend the one in Scotland.

Okay, about 1h 45 minutes to go until 22/2/22 - 22:22:22 - I've set an alarm so I won't miss is.

I very much enjoyed reading this. Thank you for writing it.

A pity there is no 3-33-33, but in 11 years you can enjoy March 3, '33: 3-3-33 (especially at 3:33:33 in the morning). A month named after that same Roman god Mars

The perfect balance, on a sincronized moment, for a reflected time, on the right day. Interesting piece.

Yes, especially on a day in which many unwise things have been occurring!
