First of all. Thank you for the many kind reactions that I received today. It may take a while before I am relieved of this pain, so today, I did my last work-related activity and started a break from work.
The video below is the debate of this afternoon during the GLOBSEC Bratislava Forum, focussing on the relationship between climate change and security. Today’s panel followed just days after the NATO Summit took up significant new commitments for cooperation on the climate-security relationship, including an annual assessment and regular high-level dialogue. Unfortunately, it is also only days after the much more disappointing outcome of the G7 that did not show enough ambition to stop fossil fuel emissions.

Excellent debate. Always enjoy your views whether in interviews, debates or seminars etc. Climate change & security are becoming more closely entwined & demands priority attention & action in every country all over the globe. As you said, the critical key is political leadership.
