The relentless sun roasted the streets when I searched for my hostel in the afternoon. But Madrid adapted with a remarkable vitality that came alive as the evening unfolded. Then, as the mercury dipped and the enthusiasm for a football match grew, the city showed its authentic vibes.

While admiring the moment's beauty, I wondered how our lives in the northern parts of Europe would transform as climate change envelops us in warmth. Could we also partake in such enchanting evenings? Yet, I yearned for these moments without the scorching grip of the day, though I knew one could not have their pie and eat it too.
