Building resilience faster
It is World Water Week: water should be at the heart of any sustainable development policy. A two-minute video message
This morning, I walked in the beautiful dunes of Schouwen-Duiveland and spoke on the theme of this yearβs World Water Week: Building Resilience Faster. I recorded a 2-minute video message for you:

What a nice surprise to find in my mailbox after work. Love the video and that you added short video sequences for everything you said. Also, those dunes are the perfect place to shoot a video like this. It shows us what is at stake.
Now we "just" have to elect the right people whose goal it is to protect our ecosystems and to adopt sustainable development policies. Thank you for this important message.
An excellent video & powerful message delivered with your deep concern for our planetary crisis. Itβs good to see you speaking these gravely significant words so earnestly driving home the weight of the momentous challenge ahead. We are in the thick of the battle with no time to waste. The enemy is gaining ground & every country, every leader, every individual must commit to winning. Water in any of its forms, in its presence or absence, is at the heart of the crisis.
The evidence is all around us. As you stated, we need concrete solutions & we need them fast!
Thank you for your leadership. Very well done!
